Privacy Policy

This policy covers visits and interactions on shadow-help.com. It explains what browsing data the site handles, why it is handled, and how you can manage it in your browser.

1. Scope and service boundaries

Shadowrocket Help Center is the official Shadowrocket website and user guide, with information on verifying the genuine app, purchasing, setup, and key concepts. This is a static content site with no user registration, email subscriptions, or comment forms. Visitors are not asked to submit their name, email address, Apple ID, or payment details.

This policy covers data handling on the website only; it does not replace the app’s privacy information or Apple’s policies. You do not need to upload a Config, subscription link, QR code, or server credentials to read a guide. We do not provide, sell, or recommend proxies or subscriptions. Instructions assume you already have your own subscription or server details.

2. Browsing data and analytics

We use website analytics to understand which pages people read and how well site navigation works. Analytics may include pages visited, referring pages, visit times, browser and device categories, and deliberate clicks such as links to the App Store. This helps us find broken links, improve reading on mobile devices, and refine the guide structure. It is not used to determine what users connect to in the app.

When you request a webpage, technical information such as your IP address, requested path, and browser identifier is also sent to the server hosting the site. The server may keep access logs for operations, troubleshooting, and analysis of unusual traffic. Analytics records and server logs are separate data-processing activities; analytics should not be taken to represent all information the site receives.

We do not use guide pages to access connection logs, subscription details, or Apple purchase credentials in the app. Do not include credential-bearing links in page query parameters, or share passwords or full subscription URLs in text you send to explain an issue.

3. Cookies, local storage, and browser controls

Whether analytics writes cookies, which identifiers it uses, and how long they last depend on the analytics configuration in use. Your browser cache may store some static resources; cookies, cache, and local storage are different mechanisms. Page interactions may use session state or browser storage to remember display preferences. These states are not used to store subscription or payment information.

You can view, restrict, or clear this site’s cookies and local storage in your browser’s site data settings. You can also use content-blocking settings to limit analytics requests. Clearing data may reset display preferences. Restricting scripts may affect navigation and other interactive features, but you can still read the static page content directly by its URL.

4. App Store links and purchase data

Shadowrocket is available only on Apple platforms, and the App Store product page is the only place to get it. Apple operates that page. Once you open the link, Apple’s handling of visits, account sign-in, payments, and purchase history is governed by its applicable terms and privacy policy. We do not receive payment card details or process App Store transactions.

The app is a one-time purchase; it is not a service subscription. App purchases and fees, accounts, and data handling for services you already use are governed separately by their respective terms. Check the App Store page for device compatibility and system requirements. Our purchase information does not replace checking the store listing before you buy.

5. Policy updates and questions

If changes to analytics, browser storage, or website features affect this policy, we will update the relevant terms on this page and revise the month shown at the top. The revised policy will be published here. You can revisit it using the Privacy Policy link in the footer. We do not collect email addresses to send update notices.

This page has no form for submitting privacy-related information. For first-time setup, importing an existing subscription, and common usage questions, see the setup guide. For App Store account questions and restoring purchases, see the genuine app guide. You do not need to submit account details or credentials to read these guides.
